The ​Department of the Environment and Energy is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (link is external). The Principles regulate how agencies collect, use, disclose and store personal information, including sensitive information, and how individuals may access and correct records containing their personal information.

The Department of the Environment and Energy respects your right to privacy under the Privacy Act and will comply with the requirements under the Act in respect of the collection and management of personal information.

Cookies
