Ms Alex Rankin

Ms Alex Rankin worked with Dr Jackson to develop and refine the Overview report. She helps to distil the information needed by decision-makers from complex scientific and technical material. She has technical credentials in environmental science and law, and more than 25 years experience in designing and managing environmental policies, funding programs and regulations within the Australian public sector. She led the greenfield start-up of the Global Policy, Advocacy & Research section of the Fred Hollows Foundation, and has practical experience in the development and design of cutting-edge innovative financial instruments for social outcomes. Alex is a member of the Victorian Western Coastal Board and Healthy Parks Healthy People Global.
