Ms Sarah Coleman is an Assistant Director within the Centre of Environment Statistics at the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). She has worked in the field of environmental statistics since the early 1990s, and been involved with the early development of environmental-economic accounting at the ABS. Ms Coleman has worked on the development and production of a number of environmental accounts for Australia, including Environmental Protection Expenditure Accounts, Energy and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Accounts, Fish Accounts and Waste Accounts.
Australia State of the Environment 2016 has been prepared by independent experts using the best available information to support assessments of environmental condition, pressures, management effectiveness, resilience, risks and outlook.
